[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] A woman in her 50s residing in Yeonsu-gu tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in connection with a pioneering church pastors' meeting.
Incheon Yeonsu-gu Office announced on the 4th that the 37th COVID-19 case in the district has been confirmed.
The confirmed patient, Ms. A (56), a woman living in Seonhak-dong, is presumed to have been infected through contact with a pastor (confirmed case) from a church in Michuhol-gu on the 29th of last month.
It is also known that Ms. A attended a worship service at a church in Seo-gu on the 31st of last month.
Yeonsu-gu stated that Ms. A will be isolated and hospitalized in a nationally designated treatment bed, and that the closure of facilities used by the confirmed patient has been completed.
