Samjeong Sarang Nanumhoe Partners with Nowon Education Welfare Foundation to Support Families in Crisis
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Samjeong KPMG’s in-house social welfare support corporation, Samjeong Sarang Nanumhoe, announced on the 4th that it held a fund delivery ceremony to support living stability expenses for low-income vulnerable groups residing in Nowon-gu in cooperation with the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation.

View original imageSamjeong KPMG, in partnership with the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation, will provide medical and housing expenses to priority-selected families in crisis for one year to help them maintain a stable life. Each month, candidates are recommended by social welfare-related organizations within Nowon-gu, and after review by the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation, support recipients meeting the criteria will be selected.
Samjeong Sarang Nanumhoe will also launch the ‘Parangsae Project,’ a psychological rehabilitation program for people with developmental disabilities, in collaboration with the Seoul Developmental Disability Training Center and the theater troupe Rahap. Developmentally disabled actors will participate as instructors, running various programs such as rap, K-POP dance, and charming school. Through this project, the Nanumhoe plans to help stabilize the unstable psychological states of people with developmental disabilities, such as maladjustment in interpersonal relationships.
