Consumer Promotion Campaign for Traditional Markets and Small Business Owners Related to COVID-19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyeong] Jangsu County is promoting a consumption promotion campaign until the 5th of this month to revive the economy stagnated by COVID-19 and support traditional markets and small business owners.
According to Jangsu County, this consumption promotion campaign involves County Governor Jang Young-su and public officials visiting traditional markets and shopping districts such as Jangsu, Sanseo, Beonam, and Jang-gye markets to encourage merchants struggling due to the impact of COVID-19 and to promote the use of Jangsu County emergency disaster relief funds and government disaster relief funds through activities like ‘shopping at traditional markets’ and ‘dining at local restaurants.’
Starting with a visit to Beonam Market Day on the 1st, they visited Sanseo Market on the 2nd, Jang-gye Market on the 3rd, Cheoncheon Market on the 4th, and Jangsu Market on the 5th to encourage small business owners and simultaneously urge residents to actively participate in the consumption promotion campaign.
During June, Jangsu County will expand the closure of the county office cafeteria to twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) so that all county office employees actively use local restaurants and small stores.
Additionally, to restore economic vitality, a 10% special discount sale of Jangsu Love Gift Certificates has been ongoing from February 27 to June 30.
