Prime Minister Chung presided over the 28th Cabinet meeting held at the Government Sejong Complex on the same day and stated, "The 21st National Assembly began its term last week."
He emphasized, "In the midst of the national crisis caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), I hope for active cooperation so that the National Assembly and the government can be a source of strength for the people. I will be the first to communicate closely with the National Assembly."
Prime Minister Chung explained, "At today's Cabinet meeting, we will present 131 laws promulgated after passing the last plenary session of the 20th National Assembly. Many people worked hard for a long time on these bills, and they are the fruits of the political decision made by the 20th National Assembly at the end of its term."
