Canon Opens Online Canon Academy Classes
From Beginner Camera Usage Lectures to Video Editing, Wedding Snaps, and Food Styling

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Canon is launching an online photography course sharing various shooting know-how, from camera usage to landscape photography.
On the 1st, Canon Korea Consumer Imaging announced that considering the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), it will newly operate the online Canon Academy, where anyone can easily take photography lectures anywhere via PC or smartphone.
The Canon Academy aims to make "everyone a photographer" by providing various content that allows anyone to experience photography easily and enjoyably. Starting with a total of 7 online classes, it will operate a total of 23 diverse lecture programs until December.
The online Canon Academy is composed of three categories: ▲Canon Basic ▲Pro Know-how ▲Canon Global. 'Canon Basic' offers beginner-level photography foundation lectures, 'Pro Know-how' provides tips from experts in photography and video fields, and 'Canon Global' consists of diverse photography lectures taught by global photographers.

The curriculum includes basics of DSLR video shooting, how to use the mirrorless camera EOS M series, video editing methods using Premiere Pro, landscape photography, wedding snaps, food styling shooting know-how, and more. Lecture registration and detailed information can be found on the official online Canon Academy website. The lectures are paid. If you apply for online classes by June 30, you will receive a coupon that gives a 30,000 KRW discount when attending offline Canon Academy classes. The coupon is valid for 90 days after issuance.
