Emart24 Selects 1,640 Promotional Items... Attracting Customers with the Largest Event Ever
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Emart24 is holding its largest-ever event.
Emart24 announced on the 1st that it has selected a record 1,640 items as promotional products for the entire month of June, when convenience store visits increase, offering deals such as 1+1 and price discounts.
Considering that each convenience store sells around 3,000 products, about one out of every two items in the store is a promotional product. This is more than 50% higher compared to the 1,080 promotional items in June last year.
In particular, this event selected popular products frequently sought in daily life, such as alcoholic beverages including beer and wine, refrigerated and frozen ready-to-eat foods, beverages, and daily necessities, as the number of consumers visiting convenience stores has increased due to the recent emergency disaster relief fund payments.
As more customers seek contactless meals by purchasing convenience store lunch boxes, an event is also being held to sell lunch box sets combining popular lunch boxes (6 types) with cup noodles or beverages (such as canned cider) at a uniform price of 5,000 won.
Emart24 has also prepared various events. When customers scan the Emart24 mobile app barcode after paying 3,000 won or more, including promotional products, one stamp is generated. Collecting three stamps within a week automatically enters the customer into a draw, where various prizes such as AirPods Pro are offered.
Additionally, customers who purchase promotional products and scan the mobile app barcode will receive a 500 won e-coupon for the first 5,000 customers. The e-coupon issued on the mobile app can be used like cash for up to one month from the date of issuance.
