[Photo] LK Environment Construction Donates 100 Bags of Rice to Neighbors in Need in Gangseo-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) received a donation of 'COVID-19 relief goods (10kg rice bags, 100 sacks)' from LK Environment Construction (CEO Kim Ho-yong) at 10:30 a.m. on the 29th at the district office entrance.
CEO Kim Ho-yong had the thought, "When attending a wedding hall, it is better to receive something meaningful that can be used rather than wreaths displayed in front of the ceremony hall that end up being discarded."
While making the wedding invitation for his daughter, he and his daughter had a small concern about this issue and informed acquaintances that "wreaths are declined, but rice donations to help neighbors are welcome."
After holding his daughter's wedding on the 23rd, he said, "I thought about 20 to 30 sacks of rice would come, but unexpectedly 100 sacks arrived, so I contacted the district office to donate them."
The district plans to deliver the 100 sacks of rice received to low-income residents in the area through the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
