FutureStream Networks "Adqua Wins Grand Prize at the 28th 'Good Advertising Award Chosen by the People'"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Future Stream Networks, a comprehensive digital marketing group, announced on the 29th that its subsidiary Adqua Interactive won the sole grand prize in the online category of the 'Good Advertisement Award Chosen by the People' for GS Caltex's 'Maeumi-eum Fairy Tale' campaign.
The 'Good Advertisement Award Chosen by the People,' which held its award ceremony on the 28th, is hosted by the Korea Advertisers Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, marking its 28th year this year.
Launched in May last year, GS Caltex's 'Maeumi-eum Fairy Tale' is a sequel to the 'Maeumi-eum Connection Tone' campaign, which started from GS Caltex's corporate slogan in 2017, 'I am your Energy.' This campaign received praise for delivering the message that 'small changes in perception can become the energy that changes the world' by reawakening prejudices against 'stepmothers' existing in public perception through a fairy tale reconstructed based on real stories, and presenting a new perspective on remarried families.
With this award, GS Caltex's 'Maeumi-eum Fairy Tale' campaign has recorded its 12th win across six comprehensive awards, including two gold prizes at the 2019 Korea Advertising Awards and the grand prize at the Korea Online Advertising Awards.
