Jinju-si 2019 Business Establishment Survey Conducted
Survey of all businesses with at least one employee, from June 4 to 29
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 29th that it will conduct the '2019 Business Establishment Survey' from June 4 to 29 targeting businesses with one or more employees in the area.
This business establishment survey is conducted annually to understand the distribution of businesses and employment structure within the area, and the original field survey schedule was changed due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
During this period, investigators will visit all businesses with one or more employees in the area in person to survey 11 items as of December 31, 2019, including business name, organizational form, number of employees, and annual sales.
The collected data (including personal information) will be strictly protected under Article 33 (Protection of Confidentiality) of the Statistics Act and will not be used for purposes other than statistical compilation.

A city official stated, "Although the statistical survey was postponed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect investigators, since the situation is still not safe, difficulties are expected in visiting businesses for the survey. Investigators will wear masks and follow preventive measures during visits, and we ask for active cooperation in the survey."
