POSCO Energy Launches On-Time Departure Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] POSCO Energy is conducting various campaigns to create a happy workplace where work and life are balanced.
POSCO Energy announced on the 29th that it has been participating in the "Work-Life Balance Campaign" organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor since April.
POSCO Energy was selected as a participating company in recognition of its establishment and implementation of various systems to promote the coexistence of work and family, including ▲ operating "Family Love Day" every Friday ▲ running pop-ups encouraging on-time departure ▲ operating a flexible working hours system ▲ encouraging managers to take annual leave on Sandwich Day as role models ▲ operating organizational revitalization systems.
The "Work-Life Balance Campaign" is a campaign aimed at improving working methods and culture so that workers can fully demonstrate their abilities, enhancing corporate productivity and competitiveness while achieving a balance between work and life.
As part of the "Work-Life Balance Campaign," POSCO Energy is also conducting the "Follow Me" campaign, which encourages employees to focus during working hours and leave work on time. The "Follow (Pal-o) Me" campaign signifies "8-5 work hours" and carries a double meaning of "Let’s work smartly and lead by example to leave work on time," aiming to create a culture of on-time departure together.
Every week, employees from each department participate by holding signs such as "I am leaving now!" and "Work smartly with focus during working hours!" and take photos. These photos are set to appear as automatic pop-ups on PCs at the time of departure. Departments participating in the "Follow Me" campaign, including the employees involved, are encouraged to lead by example and leave work on time during the campaign week.
