Orion Increases Quantity by 29% for 'Jelly Day' Without Price Change
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Orion announced on the 28th that it will relaunch ‘Jelly Day,’ loved for its heart-shaped jelly, by increasing the quantity by 29% compared to the previous amount without changing the price and significantly upgrading the quality.
Orion has been consistently implementing the ‘Good Packaging Project’ since 2014. Over the past six years, to provide more value to consumers, it has increased the quantity of a total of 18 products, including Jelly Day, without changing the price. After increasing the quantity of ‘Market O Nature O! Granola Bar’ in January, this is the second product quantity increase this year.
Jelly Day’s standard size will increase from the existing 49g to 63g. Along with this, the quality has been significantly upgraded. A chewy dried fruit texture has been newly realized, and to enhance the fresh fruit flavor and rich taste, the content of vitamin C powder and fruit pulp has been strengthened. The package design has also been harmoniously renewed with fresh fruit and heart-shaped jelly images, reflecting the preferences of women in their 20s and 30s who enjoy posting SNS certification shots. Among the existing flavors, two types will be released: Grape & Peach flavor, which combines the two most loved flavors by consumers in one bag, and Mango & Pineapple, which contains tropical fruits mango and pineapple in one bag.
