The county is prioritizing support for farms with labor shortages, such as elderly or female-headed households, and from the 25th of last month until the 5th of next month, all employees are participating in labor assistance.
In particular, due to the worsening rural labor shortage caused by the spread of COVID-19 this year, support is being provided so that all departments and offices, as well as each eup and myeon, can conduct labor assistance at least twice by the end of next month.
From the time social distancing measures end, a county-wide rural labor assistance campaign will be carried out together with local institutions and organizations.
Additionally, the county has established an agricultural manpower support situation room at the county office and 14 eup and myeon offices to survey local labor demand, while linking farms with job participants and volunteers.
Furthermore, manpower recruited through the mutual aid manpower support project linked with Seoul City is expected to be able to start working from the end of this month.
