Incheon Man in His 50s Confirmed with COVID-19 After Attending Daejeon Business Briefing (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] A man in his 50s who attended a health product-related business briefing held in Daejeon was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Yeonsu-gu, Incheon City, announced on the 27th that Mr. A (51), who resides in Songdo International City, tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the district, Mr. A was confirmed to have attended a health product franchise business briefing held at Woosong Culture and Arts Center in Dong-gu, Daejeon City, from 1 PM to 5 PM on the 23rd.
It was identified that about 250 people attended the business briefing.
Mr. A was reported to have shown symptoms such as muscle pain and body aches. Following the recommendation from the Dong-gu Public Health Center in Daejeon, which advised attendees of the briefing to get tested due to confirmed cases, Mr. A visited the Yeonsu-gu Public Health Center the previous day and underwent a COVID-19 diagnostic test.
