Service Industry Promotion Agency, K-Beauty Industry Association, and Flawrence Sign MOU to Create 'Beauty Industry Platform'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The Korea Service Industry Promotion Agency, the K-Beauty Industry Association, and Florence, a platform specialist company based on 4th industrial revolution technologies, signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 25th at the conference room of Florence’s headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to create a 'Global Beauty Industry' platform and business model.
Through this agreement, the three organizations will mutually cooperate to develop new platform businesses in the beauty industry and education and certification models based on the National Competency Standards (NCS). They will also collaborate on premium services and product development in the beauty sector, as well as certification and workforce training programs.
In particular, the three institutions plan to promote the global marketing growth of the domestic beauty industry, starting with China, by nurturing 'K-Beauty Curators' based on the NCS.

Florence stated, "We hope this agreement will lead to the successful completion of an online and offline platform business model, fostering global leaders in the beauty industry and laying the foundation for pioneering new markets."
