Suncheonman Wetland, Ecological Experience Program "Journey to Find the Doyosae" 운영
Operation of Experience Programs and Marine Environment Awareness Programs Starting in June
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City announced that it will resume normal operation of the Suncheonman Wetland ecological experience program, which had been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, starting in June.
This year, the ecological experience program prepared by Suncheon City will be operated under the theme "A Journey to Find the Sandpiper," with programs titled "Gongjak," "One-day Birdwatching," and "One Night Two Days Birdwatching."
At Suncheonman Wetland, visitors will be welcomed not only with ecological experience programs but also with various activities such as making reed brooms and ecological puppet shows, aiming to revitalize tourists exhausted by COVID-19 and provide cultural experience opportunities that had been lacking.
In addition, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the program will be operated with strict indoor and outdoor disinfection and quarantine systems, as well as compliance with social distancing prevention rules such as wearing masks and hand sanitizing during the experience.
A representative of Suncheonman Wetland said, "We will do our best to make the ecological experience program an opportunity to revitalize the daily lives of tired tourists."
