T'way Air to Launch Busan~Yangyang Route on 26th Next Month... Preparing Gwangju~Yangyang Route Too
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] T'way Air announced on the 25th that it will operate three daily flights on the Busan~Yangyang route starting June 26. T'way Air is also preparing to launch flights on the Gwangju~Yangyang route on the same date.
The Yangyang route to be launched this time will be operated as a non-scheduled flight and may be converted to a scheduled flight depending on future trends. A T'way Air official explained, "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we expect a higher preference for domestic destinations, especially the East Coast area, rather than overseas vacation spots, so we decided to launch this route."
Meanwhile, to commemorate this new route launch, T'way Air will hold a special fare promotion on its website and mobile app until June 7. The special fare tickets can be used from June 26 to July 23 and will be sold starting at a total one-way fare of 13,900 KRW.

Additionally, T'way Air is offering a bundle service called Double Back, which includes advance seat selection and additional checked baggage service, at a discounted price of 100 KRW from the original 9,000 KRW for customers who book through its website and mobile app. Customers can also change their itinerary once for free. For group bookings of 10 or more people, an additional discount of 2,000 KRW per person per one-way ticket will be provided.
