Norman's 'Claret Jug' was not sold for a particularly high price. The trophy won by golf legend Sam Snead (USA) when he won The Open in 1946 was sold for a high price of 262,900 dollars (326 million won) at an auction in 2013. Basketball legend Michael Jordan's (USA) golf clubs found a new owner for 25,331 dollars (31 million won). On the other hand, Snead's 1949 Masters trophy and 1951 Ryder Cup trophy failed to sell.
