Garak Market First Half Fire Safety Comprehensive Drill
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Kim Kyung-ho) conducted the '2020 Garak Market First Half Firefighting Comprehensive Drill' at the Eco-friendly Center 3 on the 20th to strengthen initial response capabilities in case of safety accidents.
The firefighting comprehensive drill is a training to improve rapid response ability in the event of safety accidents. This drill included CPR and automated external defibrillator usage training, as well as evacuation simulation and practice in the underground floor of Garak Mall.
Additionally, the virtual fire suppression training was conducted jointly by the corporation, its subsidiaries, and the Garak 119 Safety Center to enhance the collaborative system for fire emergency situations.
Im Chang-soo, Head of the Construction Safety Division, stated, “Safety accidents require rapid response capabilities and cooperation among employees when they occur. Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation will continue to do its best to ensure the safety of distributors.”

Lee Eun-jong, Director of the Garak 119 Safety Center, said, “This training has heightened awareness of disasters and strengthened initial response capabilities. Since early suppression is most important in case of fire, please continue to focus on fire safety management.”
