Focusing on Policy Development for Non-Face-to-Face Administration and Economic Revitalization to Prepare for Rapidly Changing Society After COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) will launch a task force (TF) led by Vice Mayor Ha Cheol-seung on the 25th to proactively respond to the "post-COVID-19 era" and prepare measures for the "untact culture."
The "Gangnam-gu Post-COVID-19 TF," which includes heads of all 31 departments under the Gangnam District Office, is composed of a total of five divisions: the "non-face-to-face administration" divisions of ▲civil complaints ▲resident participation ▲cultural events, and the "economic revitalization" divisions of ▲local economy ▲jobs.
Going forward, regular weekly meetings will be held to develop practical policies.
The TF will also listen to various opinions through the "Gangnam-gu Policy Advisory Committee," consisting of 15 experts in fields such as economy, environment, tourism, and culture and arts, as well as through regular "town hall meetings."
Additionally, the TF plans to prepare specific "post-COVID-19" measures by reflecting domestic and international trends and best practice analyses from the Gangnam-gu research organization, the District Administration Research Group.
