Korea Airports Corporation to Hire 84 New and Experienced Employees in First Half of This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 19th that it plans to hire a total of 84 people through open recruitment for new and experienced positions in the first half of this year. Korea Airports Corporation is a public enterprise that manages and operates 14 airports nationwide, excluding Incheon International Airport, including Gimpo, Gimhae, and Jeju airports.
The fields for new employee recruitment at Korea Airports Corporation include 9 areas: administration, computer science, civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, landscaping, electrical engineering, telecommunications and electronics, and airport safety, with 79 positions available. Experienced positions include 5 openings in 3 areas: apron management and operation, overseas project management, and software development.
The recruitment process includes categories for persons with disabilities and employment support targets (national veterans), and continues to promote socially equitable hiring by giving preference to non-metropolitan area talents and basic livelihood security recipients.
Korea Airports Corporation plans to select outstanding talents through job competency-focused recruitment by introducing a 'role-playing' interview simulating actual work situations to evaluate applicants' creativity in this year's hiring. Additionally, since 2017, the corporation has operated a blind recruitment process that excludes bias factors such as gender, age, education, and photos from application forms to ensure transparent and fair hiring.
Furthermore, Korea Airports Corporation plans to apply the Central Disease Control Headquarters' "Exam Prevention Management Guidelines" according to the COVID-19 situation.
