What is Crystalite? Number One in Convenience Store Coffee and Tea Sales
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Crystal Light, a popular overseas direct purchase (direct import) product, has become the number one seller in convenience store coffee and tea sales.
According to GS25's sales data for the coffee and tea category analyzed from April 21 to May 17, Crystal Light On The Go ranked first among about 180 coffee and tea products. It outsold Maxim Mocha Gold 20-pack, the undisputed number one in GS25's coffee category, and Dongseo Barley Tea 300g, the top product in the tea category.
Crystal Light On The Go, exclusively launched by GS25 in the convenience store industry from April 21, is a new concept powdered drink that can be mixed with 500ml of water. It contains natural fruit flavors instead of artificial flavorings, and each packet has less than 5 Kcal. Crystal Light On The Go gained great popularity among women in their 20s and 30s who want to enjoy healthy water, and was previously purchased through overseas direct import, but is now available at GS25. GS25 offers two types: Crystal Light On The Go Peach Mango Green Tea and Crystal Light On The Go Pink Lemonade. The price is 1,800 won. A 2+1 promotional event is being held until the end of this month.
