Considering the recent spread of 'COVID-19' infections starting in the Itaewon area of Seoul, if students going to school report suspected COVID-19 symptoms such as sore throat and fever to 119, the 119 ambulance team will provide necessary support by transporting them from the school to screening clinics and public health centers.
To this end, the Fire Headquarters plans to utilize 24 dedicated COVID-19 ambulance teams operating in 12 fire stations across the province to support the safe transportation of students with suspected COVID-19 symptoms.
