Offline Applications for Local Love Gift Certificates and Prepaid Cards Begin from the 18th
The government's emergency disaster relief fund credit and debit card recharge application began at 7 a.m. on the 11th through the websites of nine card companies. Similar to the public mask 5-day rotation system, a day-of-the-week system is applied for applications, and from the 16th, applications can be made at any time. The support fund amounts are 400,000 won for single-person households, 600,000 won for two-person households, 800,000 won for three-person households, and 1,000,000 won for households of four or more. View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 18th that during the week from the 11th to the 17th, a total of 14,401,000 households nationwide applied for emergency disaster relief funds via credit and debit card charging, amounting to a total of 7.6117 trillion won.
During the two days of the weekend when the 5-day rotation application system was lifted, an additional 1.43 million households applied for 938.5 billion won.
By region, over the week, Gyeonggi-do alone saw 3,041,822 households apply for 1.90663 trillion won, accounting for 26.7% of all applicants. In Seoul, 2,447,128 households (21.5%) applied for 1.60848 trillion won.
Following were Incheon with 721,942 households (6.3%) applying for 505.055 billion won, Busan with 688,765 households (6.0%) applying for 477.117 billion won, Gyeongnam with 633,438 households (5.6%) applying for 450.444 billion won, Daegu with 504,337 households (4.4%) applying for 356.752 billion won, and Gyeongbuk with 498,628 households (4.4%) applying for 340.458 billion won.
The emergency disaster relief fund, targeting approximately 21.71 million households nationwide, provides 400,000 won for single-person households, 600,000 won for two-person households, 800,000 won for three-person households, and 1 million won for households of four or more.
Since the 11th, applications for the emergency disaster relief fund via credit and debit card charging have been accepted online, through smartphone apps, call centers, and the automatic response system (ARS). From the 18th, it is also possible to apply offline by visiting bank counters linked with card companies.
Applications for regional love gift certificates and prepaid card disaster relief funds are also accepted offline starting from this day at local town, township, and neighborhood community centers nationwide.

Applications for regional love gift certificates and prepaid cards follow the same weekday system as the mask 5-day rotation, based on the last digit of the head of household’s birth year. The head of household must apply in person, but if a power of attorney is presented, a proxy can also apply.
