Antibacterial Kits Delivered to 700 Households with COVID-19 Hope Messages
Seocho-gu Delivers Antibacterial Kits (Hand Wash, Antibacterial Wipes, Mouthwash, Toothbrush & Toothpaste) Along with Flower Calligraphy Frames to 700 Low-Income Vulnerable Families
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Jo) will deliver flower calligraphy frames and antibacterial kits to 700 low-income vulnerable households in the area who are experiencing a frustrating and difficult situation due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The antibacterial kits consist of items that help maintain hygiene and cleanliness in daily life, including a total of 8 items such as hand wash, antibacterial tissues, mouthwash, toothbrush, and toothpaste.
Additionally, the calligraphy frames delivered together contain pressed beautiful spring flowers along with hopeful messages such as "We support your dreams" and "We give you happiness."
The frames and kits will be directly delivered to low-income home-based disabled households and households with chronic illness patients in the district through medical aid workers and welfare centers.
In particular, the flower calligraphy frames were created by the district employees who united their efforts to support disabled households going through a frustrating and difficult time due to COVID-19.
This talent donation, which started from the suggestion of an employee who was always interested in calligraphy, involved all employees of the Social Welfare Division to support chronic respiratory disease patients, severely disabled persons, and elderly disabled persons vulnerable to infectious diseases who face restrictions on outdoor activities.
An employee who participated in the production said, "I hope that residents going through difficult times due to COVID-19 will gain hope and courage through the flowers and phrases of the calligraphy we made."

Also, to address the care gap for vulnerable groups, the district supports essential daily necessities and side dishes for households. With corporate sponsorship, simple meal sets consisting of instant rice and cup noodles were delivered to 700 households having difficulty going out in the area, along with 420 boxes of ramen. For elderly and disabled persons who can no longer use free meal services due to COVID-19, warm side dishes made by employees of the district’s disabled welfare center are delivered once a week.
Mayor Eunhee Jo stated, "In the prolonged COVID-19 situation, the district will continue to take a warm heart that cares for each other as a driving force and carefully look into even the smallest parts of daily life for the psychological stability and health of the residents."
