Gyeongbuk Province Expands 'Daily' Integrated Fruit Brand Exclusive Stores to 5 Locations
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 15th that it will expand the exclusive sales stores for the Gyeongbuk fruit integrated brand ‘daily’ to five locations in large distribution stores such as Nonghyup Distribution.
Since 2018, three exclusive sales stores for ‘daily’ have been established (Hanaro Club Yangjae Branch, Nonghyup Distribution Samsong Branch, Nonghyup Busan-Gyeongnam Distribution Center), and due to consumer response, additional stores have now been set up at Hanaro Mart Yangsan Branch and Nonghyup Ulsan Distribution Center.
At these stores, high-quality daily brand products, which rank in the top 50% or higher among apples, peaches, plums, and grapes produced in Gyeongbuk, will be sold exclusively.
The Gyeongsangbuk-do fruit integrated brand daily has been shipped from 54 sorting centers in 16 cities and counties within the province since 2016. Starting with 21 billion KRW in sales in the first year of the project in 2016, it has grown approximately 78% annually, reaching 66 billion KRW in sales last year. The target for this year is 80 billion KRW.

Kim Jong-su, Director of the Agriculture, Livestock and Distribution Bureau, stated, “Through the opening of this brand sales store, a system has been established to stably supply excellent fruits produced within the province,” and added, “We plan to do our best to continuously expand the agricultural product distribution market, which has been contracted after COVID-19.”
