Daegu City is conducting monitoring twice a day through dedicated public officials and unannounced inspections by a special crackdown team to ensure that overseas entrants comply with the two-week self-quarantine rules.
A city official urged compliance with the rules, stating, "Violators of self-quarantine will face criminal punishment or deportation measures under a zero-tolerance policy."
