OK Savings Bank Delivers COVID-19 Recovery Kits to Small Business Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] OK Savings Bank announced on the 14th that it has taken steps to support small business owners struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) by delivering 5,000 masks and hand sanitizers.
First, it will provide 5,000 COVID-19 overcoming kits to customers affected by COVID-19. The overcoming kits consist of masks and hand sanitizers, and the recipients are individual and sole proprietorship loan customers, with about 200 kits provided per branch.
Additionally, antibacterial films were supplied to stores occupied by small business owners near each branch and the head office. It is known that attaching antibacterial films to elevator buttons and other surfaces can help prevent virus transmission.
Employees' kind consumption is also being promoted. Prepayments were made to dining establishments near branches so that employees can use those restaurants.
OK Savings Bank is supporting selected small business owners with free business upgrades up to 1 million KRW in cooperation with the Korea Federation of Savings Banks. It also provides free self-employment consulting worth about 600,000 KRW in partnership with the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency. In addition, a 'Family Month Flower Group Purchase' campaign is being conducted to support flower farms targeting OK Financial Group affiliates.
