Yangcheon Residents' Day Ceremony Also Practices Social Distancing in Daily Life
Yangcheon-gu to Hold Yangcheon Residents' Day Ceremony on the 15th at 3 PM in the Grand Theater of Yangcheon Culture Hall... Minimizing Attendees to Participate in Everyday Social Distancing; Event Video to Be Shared with Residents via Official Yangcheon TV YouTube Channel After the Ceremony
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Sooyoung) will hold the 27th Yangcheon Residents' Day commemorative ceremony at 3 PM on the 15th at the Yangcheon Culture Hall Grand Theater.
Unlike previous years when the ceremony was held with about 1,000 residents, this year the district will minimize the number of attendees in participation with social distancing measures, holding the event with about 100 guests.
Additionally, for those who are disappointed they cannot attend, the district plans to share the event video with residents by posting it on Yangcheon-gu’s official YouTube channel, ‘YangcheonTV,’ after the ceremony.
At this commemorative ceremony, the Yangcheon Residents' Award will be presented to eight individuals who have become role models for residents through their exceptional passion and efforts in eight fields including regional development, community harmony, volunteering, filial piety, and good deeds.
Also, a wonderful guitar performance by Song Siyun, a resident of Yangcheon-gu known as a guitar prodigy, and a congratulatory performance by ‘Dupalro,’ a local social enterprise that achieved back-to-back gold medals at the World Choir Olympics, are prepared.
