Concerns Over Infection Spread from Hongdae Bar... Confirmed Cases Rise to 5
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is increasing among those who visited pubs in the Hongdae area of Seoul.
According to each autonomous district in Seoul and local governments nationwide on the 13th, four additional people who had visited a Hongdae pub with Mr. A, who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on the 12th, were also diagnosed with COVID-19.
The four confirmed cases were confirmed to reside in Jangan-gu, Suwon-si, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gimpo-si, and Gangseo-gu, Seoul, respectively. They had visited a Hongdae pub in Seoul with Mr. A on the night of the 7th.
Earlier, Mr. A felt a sore throat on the 10th and underwent a specimen test at the Ansim Clinic in Seo-gu, Incheon on the 11th. He was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on the 12th.
