Hwasun-gun to Begin Second Round of 'Emergency Disaster Livelihood Support Fund' Payments from the 13th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 12th that the second round of emergency disaster livelihood support payments will begin on the 13th.
The county conducted a second survey targeting 7,874 households and judged 4,127 households as eligible, planning to pay a total of about 2.73 billion won to 4,127 households, which accounts for 52% of the surveyed households.
Previously, at the end of last month, through the first survey (targeting 10,493 households), 6,184 households were selected as eligible and a total of over 4 billion won was paid.
The emergency disaster livelihood support fund is linked with Jeollanam-do's emergency living expenses, providing 500,000 won to single-person households with income below 100% of the median income, 700,000 won to 2-3 person households, and 1 million won to households of four or more.
Eligible households can visit the designated Nonghyup bank listed on the notification letter to receive the support funds in the form of Hwasun Love Gift Certificates.
If a family member other than the head of the household receives the payment, they must bring the power of attorney enclosed with the notification letter and identification cards of both the principal and the agent.
In Hwasun-eup, payments will be made at the Nonghyup Hwasun-gun branch and two other Nonghyup locations.
To prevent congestion at payment counters, the county assigned payment dates and time slots (morning/afternoon) by household from the 13th to the 19th.
Objections to the selection results can be filed at the relevant eup/myeon administrative welfare center within 14 days from the receipt of the notification letter.
Households filing objections will have their eligibility reviewed and the final payment decision will be made accordingly.
