[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Hanil Cement's Remital Division announced on the 12th that it has secured over 200 advanced high-performance portable silos for high-functionality flooring work, such as reducing noise between floors, and will expand their supply to construction sites.
Portable silos are equipment used to supply large quantities of dry mortar for interior flooring and rooftop construction at construction sites. Dry mortar companies deliver products to construction sites and provide them as a service. Hanil Cement currently owns about 300 portable silos, the largest number in Korea.
Hanil Cement's patented (No. 10-0668066) advanced high-performance portable silos are equipped with sensors and automatic supply devices on approximately 200 portable silos that previously relied on manual labor, introducing a quantitative weighing system. This system accurately supplies the amount of dry mortar and the water needed for mixing according to the product type.
This prevents material separation and ensures uniform mixing ratios, allowing the product's inherent characteristics to be fully expressed. It is also excellent at maintaining consistent quality, which is crucial during construction, making it easy to use high-performance products.
A Hanil Cement official stated, "To secure stable quality required at construction sites, we are continuously conducting research and investing not only in products but also in equipment development for construction." He added, "We will strive to overcome the construction market downturn by enhancing differentiated competitiveness."
