Dongdaemun-gu Childcare Support Center Delivers 'Hope Plants' and Encouragement Messages to Childcare Staff at Over 200 Daycare Centers... Hope Plants Prepared as Part of Campaign to Support Flower Farmers
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) announced that the Dongdaemun-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center (Director Kim Hee-jung) will deliver ‘Hope Flowerpots’ along with messages of support to childcare staff at about 200 local daycare centers working hard on emergency childcare in celebration of Teachers' Day.
The flowerpots being delivered this time were prepared as part of the ‘Flower Farm Support Campaign’ to help flower farmers who have faced difficulties due to the consecutive cancellations of major events such as entrance and graduation ceremonies caused by COVID-19.
Through the ‘Hope Flowerpot’ delivery event, which carries the meaning of ‘If nurtured well, dreams can come true,’ the Dongdaemun-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center aimed not only to assist flower farmers going through a difficult time but also to convey a message of hope to childcare staff on Teachers' Day.
