The First Japanese REIT in Korea to Be Listed on the 13th
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The Korea Exchange announced on the 11th that it plans to list the 'KODEX Dow Jones U.S. REITs (H) ETF' and 'KODEX TSE Japan REITs (H) ETF,' both applied for listing by Samsung Asset Management, on the KOSPI market on the 13th.
Among them, the KODEX TSE Japan REITs is a product based on Samsung Asset Management's 'Tokyo Stock Exchange REIT Index' and is the first Japan REITs ETF in Korea.
The KODEX Dow Jones U.S. REITs is based on Samsung Asset Management's 'Dow Jones U.S. Real Estate PR Index.'

The Exchange stated, "With the implementation of separate taxation (9%) on dividend income from real estate collective investment schemes, we expect this to provide a new investment opportunity as a tax-saving product."
