Poster for the 17th Chungjang Festival in Dong-gu, Gwangju Donated Talent at Lotte Department Store
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 11th that the poster for the ‘17th Nostalgic Chungjang Festival’ will be produced through a talent donation by Lotte Department Store.
Lotte Department Store Honam Chungcheong region has been collaborating since 2018 to design the key visual for the Chungjang Festival, enabling its use across various promotional media such as festival posters, leaflets, postcards, and subway screen doors.
This year as well, the design will be developed by the end of this month to allow all visitors participating in the festival held throughout the city to recognize the festival’s identity.
The developed festival key visual will be widely applied to promotional materials at the festival site, including posters, promotional arches, and streetlight banners. The festival posters will be distributed to crowded places and public institutions in line with the stabilization of ‘COVID-19’.
Mayor Im Taek of Dong-gu said, “The talent donation not only enhances the image of private companies but also raises the prestige of the festival, achieving a twofold effect,” and added, “I hope more companies participate in various cooperative fields so that the Chungjang Festival becomes a representative local festival created together by the public and private sectors, and a festival of coexistence.”

Meanwhile, the ‘17th Nostalgic Chungjang Festival’ is scheduled to be grandly held for five days from October 14 to 18 at the National Asian Culture Complex and the Chungjang-ro, Geumnam-ro, and Art Street areas.
