Tmax "86% of Employees Tested for COVID-19... No Additional Cases Confirmed"
All 12 Close Contacts of Secondary Confirmed Case Test Negative
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] TmaxSoft (hereinafter Tmax) announced that as of the morning of the 11th, no additional confirmed cases have been found related to the occurrence of confirmed cases of COVID-19 among its employees.
According to Tmax, as of 10 a.m. on the day, out of 1,662 Tmax employees, 1,431 (86%) have completed testing, with 904 testing negative and 527 awaiting results.
All 12 close contacts of the second confirmed case that occurred on the 8th tested negative. A male employee of Tmax, Mr. A (29), residing in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, tested positive for COVID-19 on the 6th after visiting the Itaewon entertainment district in Seoul, and his colleague Mr. B was confirmed positive on the 8th.

Testing is being conducted at Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Suwon Hospital and various local screening clinics. The company has covered all costs. Tmax stated, "We have closed all business sites and are implementing indefinite work-from-home for all employees except essential personnel who tested negative," adding, "We plan to complete testing as quickly as possible to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and local residents."
