Nepa Kids Unveils Collaboration with Author Kim Chamsae
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Nepa Kids has unveiled a kids collection born from a collaboration project with artist Kim Chamsae. Comprising a total of 11 styles including T-shirts, dresses, bags, and hats, this collection features bright colors and a unique, cute drawing style using crayon drawing techniques.
All clothing products in this collection are made with Regen material. Regen is an eco-friendly material made from recycled polyester. Nepa Kids completed the collection with consideration to apply eco-friendly materials to products worn by children, not only for their health but also to encourage thinking about the Earth they will live on in the future.
All 11 styles in the collection combine Kim Chamsae’s adorable illustrations with Nepa Kids’ lively and fresh designs and colors, conveying a bright and energetic vibe just by looking at them. In particular, T-shirts featuring the main character, the dog Spot, and T-shirts with charming illustrations as accents are easy to coordinate with any style, making them perfect for children’s daily looks this summer.
In addition to clothing, practical items such as crossbags with small but various pockets, sun visors made in a lightweight style to protect the face from sunlight, and aqua shoes made with light and breathable materials featuring drainage holes for convenient wear during water play activities were also released.
The 11 collection products are sold at 50 Nepa Kids stores nationwide and through the company’s online mall. Customers who purchase over 50,000 won from the collection will receive a Spot character big bag and two random books published by Aram Publishing as additional gifts.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the release of the collaboration collection, Nepa Kids is holding a vacation photo contest event. Running through the 18th on Nepa Kids’ Instagram channel, this event allows participation by submitting photos containing memories with children or vacation photos taken by the children themselves along with the required hashtags. Winners will receive collaboration collection products as gifts, and artist Kim Chamsae will transform the selected winners’ photos into new content through illustration work.
