K-Studio, which opened on the 29th of last month in the capital Beijing and Chengdu in Sichuan Province, will expand to a total of six locations including Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Taipei by June.
KOTRA established K-Studio to more effectively carry out contactless business at overseas trade centers in line with the global trend of business shifting to non-face-to-face, digital, and online methods. At K-Studio, activities such as ▲video consultations ▲influencer marketing including Wanghong broadcasts ▲online exhibitions ▲and production of short clips for companies and products are conducted.
The Beijing Trade Center and Chengdu Trade Center promoted 27 excellent consumer goods from domestic small and medium-sized enterprises through Wanghong live broadcasts at K-Studio on the 29th. Sales were also conducted through the social media platform 'TIKTOK' and the online shopping mall 'Taobao.' The Wanghong live broadcast on that day was watched by more than 100,000 people and recorded sales worth 235,000 yuan.
KOTRA plans to continue disseminating short promotional videos called 'short clips' using social media such as TikTok and WeChat. Products that receive good responses locally will also have B2B consultations arranged with major buyers.
