Jaan, Jaan Group Signs MOU with UK Luxury Online Edit Shop 'MATCHESFASHION'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Jaahn announced on the 4th that CELECON, operated by Jaahn Group, a Mogroup company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MATCHES FASHION, one of the leading online premium shops in the UK, to expand into the global market.
MATCHES FASHION is an online shopping mall that has evolved into a fashion information media platform, attracting 50 million visitors daily as an online luxury fashion specialist platform. Through this MOU, Jaahn Group plans to provide Korean language support services to MATCHES FASHION and offer a series of services including payment, refunds, product exchanges, and after-sales service (AS) to MATCHES FASHION customers.
A company representative stated, “The biggest issues in purchasing overseas luxury goods are customer services (CS) such as refunds and AS. Through this MOU, MATCHES FASHION customers will receive upgraded customer services, and Jaahn Group will be able to operate an expanded platform linked with existing platforms, creating synergy between the two companies.” He added, “Especially with the spread of contactless consumption culture and the increasing demand for online shopping, we judged that now is the right time to expand platforms through partnerships, and thus established a collaborative relationship between the two companies.”
He continued, “Jaahn Group has succeeded in partnering with MATCHES FASHION following the largest luxury platform YOOX and Italy’s POZIERI,” and added, “We are also promoting collaborations with the UK online fashion platform FARFETCH and the global beauty select shop SEPHORA, so we expect our dominance in the luxury online market to be further strengthened in the future.”
CELECON, operated by Jaahn Group, is a platform where you can find premium global brand products including representative luxury brands such as Gucci, Balenciaga, and Prada. Recently, due to the rise of ‘contactless’ transactions, the monthly average transaction volume has exceeded 13 billion KRW, and it is expected to achieve the highest performance ever this year. The company explained that growth will accelerate further based on strengthening market dominance through partnerships.
