Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service Operates On-Site Support Team for Industrial Accident Compensation in Icheon Fire Incident
Kang Soon-hee, President of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, visited the Pan-Government On-Site Recovery Support Team set up at Icheon City Hall on the 3rd to discuss measures with Lee Jae-gap, Minister of Employment and Labor, the Mayor of Icheon, and other officials.

By the 5th, the Service has dispatched on-site support teams to the bereaved families' waiting room (Moga Gymnasium), the joint memorial altar (Seohui Youth Center), and the Icheon City Hall situation room to assist with consultations for compensation and funeral expenses, as well as support for the treatment of the injured.
Additionally, they are cooperating with requests for data from related organizations regarding whether the on-site construction company is enrolled in industrial accident insurance and the compensation procedures.
