"Shameless..." 50s Fined in First Trial for Defaming Na Kyung-won in Article Comments
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Hee-eun Park] A man in his 50s who defamed former Liberty Korea Party floor leader Na Kyung-won in comments was sentenced to a fine in the first trial.
On the 1st, Judge Park So-young of Criminal Division 12 at Busan District Court announced that A (52), who was indicted on charges of insult, was sentenced to a fine of 700,000 won.
According to the verdict, A was prosecuted for writing insulting comments toward former floor leader Na Kyung-won on an article titled 'Na Kyung-won "Moon fans and Dalchang attack" vulgar speech controversy' posted on a portal site in May of last year.
