The establishment of the Chungnam Regional Office of SMEs and Startups was promoted to reflect the increasing policy demand for small and medium enterprises in the Chungnam region. The Chungnam Regional Office of SMEs and Startups will begin operations on the 31st of this month. The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held on the 28th of next month, considering the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
With the establishment of the Chungnam Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, on-site support for local small and micro businesses will be strengthened. It is also expected that many local small and venture companies with competitiveness will be nurtured through the preparation of specialized policies and the resolution of difficulties faced by small and medium enterprises.
Currently, the Daejeon-Chungnam Regional Office of SMEs and Startups will be renamed the Daejeon-Sejong Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, and the Daejeon-Sejong Regional Office will oversee two areas: Daejeon Metropolitan City and Sejong Special Self-Governing City.
