On the 30th, LG Electronics announced that it has started selling the 2020 model 'LG UltraGear' in the domestic market.
The LG UltraGear gaming monitor (model name: 27GN750) features a 27-inch IPS panel. It offers a wide viewing angle, providing clear images even from the side. This product supports a 1ms (one-thousandth of a second) response time, with fast and accurate color and contrast changes that reduce afterimage effects. It supports a 240Hz high refresh rate, displaying 240 frames per second, allowing smooth depiction of fast-paced games without lag.
Equipped with NVIDIA's G-Sync compatible and AMD's FreeSync Premium features, it minimizes screen stuttering. It also supports 'HDR 10,' which enhances contrast in bright and dark areas of the screen to express rich colors. The price is 599,000 KRW.
The 2020 model ‘LG UltraGear’ laptop (model name: 17U70N-PA50K) comes with a 17-inch high-resolution display. It is equipped with the latest Intel 10th generation processor (Comet Lake) and NVIDIA discrete graphics (GEFORCE GTX 1650), making it suitable not only for gaming but also for photo editing and video production. Despite being a high-performance laptop, it weighs only about 1.95kg, offering high portability. The price of the LG UltraGear laptop is 2.24 million KRW.
LG Electronics supplied about 100 LG UltraGear gaming monitors to the e-sports stadium 'Hot6 AfreecaTV Colosseum,' located on the basement first floor of Lotte World in Jamsil. Professional gamers use LG UltraGear gaming monitors to compete in e-sports tournaments. LG Electronics participates as the official sponsor of e-sports tournaments hosted and broadcast live by Afreeca TV, promoting the ‘LG UltraGear’ brand.
