(G)I-DLE, 'Stream Aid 2020' COVID-19 'Fundraising' ... April Comeback
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] The idol group (G)I-DLE is participating in 'Stream Aid 2020,' a fundraising event hosted by Twitch to support the response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), alongside global musicians.
On the 29th, (G)I-DLE conducted a streaming session through the official Twitch page and the Twitch main page to encourage donations.
'Stream Aid 2020' is an online event aimed at supporting the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund of the World Health Organization (WHO), which is backed by the United Nations.
The event runs for 12 hours, from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Korea Standard Time on the 29th.
All proceeds and donations generated from this event will be donated to the WHO's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
The event's slogan is 'Go live to save lives,' and (G)I-DLE will join global musicians and sports stars such as Charlie Puth, John Legend, and Lauv.

(G)I-DLE debuted in May 2018 with "LATATA" and has been active with hit songs like Han(-), Senorita, and LION. On April 6, they will make a comeback after nine months with their third mini-album "I trust."
