Daegu Bank Launches Real-Time Non-Face-to-Face Foreign Currency Trading Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] DGB Daegu Bank announced on the 27th that it will launch the 'Foreign Currency Buy and Sell' service starting from the 30th.
The Foreign Currency Buy and Sell service allows customers to buy and sell foreign currencies online using their accounts without visiting a branch.
By using this service, customers can buy and sell foreign currencies at their desired exchange rates. A bank official stated that this service is convenient for checking exchange rates and using them, especially at a time when visits to branches are being avoided.
This service is targeted at individual customers, and those who wish to use it must have a Korean won account with free deposits and withdrawals as well as a foreign currency account. Customers can use two functions: real-time buy and sell, which executes transactions immediately at real-time exchange rates, and desired exchange rate buy and sell, which automatically executes transactions when the pre-registered desired exchange rate is reached.
