[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 25th that it will carry out a high-intensity ‘social distancing’ campaign to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
‘Social distancing’ is actively recommended by the government to reduce the possibility of contact between infected and non-infected individuals of COVID-19.
The county is vigorously promoting the social distancing campaign to all residents through electronic billboards, banners, promotional posters, and SNS, and has inspected high-risk group infection facilities and strongly recommended suspension of operations.
In addition, employees are encouraged to actively utilize telecommuting and flexible work systems to minimize interpersonal contact, and wearing masks during work to prevent infection is mandatory.
Meetings and reports are replaced with written forms, and private gatherings and events are also advised to be refrained from.
The county controls visitor access and provides civil complaint consultations at a separate civil complaint rest area and visitor rest area set up on the first floor of the county office.
