Police Commissioner Min Gap-ryong reported assets worth approximately 759 million KRW, and Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Lee Yong-pyo reported about 2.421 billion KRW. Among the police leadership, the wealthiest was No Seung-il, Commissioner of the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency, who reported assets worth approximately 2.683 billion KRW.
Commissioner Min reported a total of 759.8 million KRW, an increase of 137.1 million KRW. Most of the increase was due to changes in the valuation of real estate in Shindaebang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, held under his and his spouse's names, as well as salary savings. Commissioner Lee's assets increased by 141.36 million KRW, mostly from earned income and interest on deposits for himself and his spouse.
Hwang Un-ha, former Director of the Police Human Resources Development Institute who ran for the general election, reported an increase of 146.2 million KRW, totaling 1.08438 billion KRW. Although Hwang was suspended from his position as Director of the Police Human Resources Development Institute, his resignation has not yet been accepted, so he maintains his status as a police officer and was included in this asset disclosure.
