Unnam-myeon (Chief Park Jong-hak) announced on the 24th that on the 23rd, Jihyo-rin (10, female), a third grader at Unnam Elementary School, and Jye-rin (6, female), a kindergartener, visited the Unnam-myeon office to donate their piggy banks and four masks they had saved over the past year.
The two sisters living in Unnam-myeon said, "We saw many people struggling due to COVID-19 through the news," and added, "Although it is a small amount, we wanted to help neighbors in need, so we decided to donate two piggy banks we have been saving for the past year."
In response, Chief Park Jong-hak said, "It is truly admirable and touching that at such a young age they want to help others," and added, "If this culture of donation continues, it is expected to have a significant ripple effect in the local community."
