Gwangju Bank Delivers 700 Emergency Relief Boxes to Vulnerable Groups and Medical Staff
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 24th that President Song Jong-wook, Labor Union Chairman Lee Seong-wook, and about 30 executives and employees voluntarily carried out a volunteer activity to directly produce 700 emergency relief boxes called ‘Love Packages Filled with Sincerity,’ consisting of 19 items including masks, hand wash, and groceries.
On the day, Gwangju Bank President Song Jong-wook delivered 100 ‘Love Packages Filled with Sincerity’ to Dong-gu Office of Gwangju Metropolitan City, attended by Labor Union Chairman Lee Seong-wook and Dong-gu Mayor Im Taek, to overcome the ‘COVID-19’ crisis.
Among the 700 emergency relief boxes, 500 will be distributed to vulnerable groups affected by ‘COVID-19’ in need through the Dong, Seo, Nam, Buk, and Gwangsan District Offices of Gwangju, and the remaining 200 will be delivered to medical staff at Chonnam National University Hospital, Chosun University Hospital, Bitgoeul Chonnam National University Hospital, and Gwangju Municipal Nursing Hospital Clinic, who are dedicated to the safety of local residents.
