Guro-gu 'Active Participation in Social Distancing' Campaign
Detailed behavioral guidelines delivered to religious facilities, PC rooms, and singing practice rooms... Guidance through on-site visits and notice distribution... Compliance monitoring also conducted
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Sung) has launched a campaign to actively participate in 'social distancing' to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
On the 24th, Guro-gu announced that it provided detailed 'social distancing' behavioral guidelines tailored to the facility status for multi-use facilities with a high risk of mass infection.
First, Guro-gu requested local churches to switch to online worship services, and for churches maintaining assembly worship, it delivered strict guidelines to prevent infection.
The seven preventive measures include preparing a list of worship attendees, checking body temperature before entry, wearing masks at all times, providing hand sanitizer, disinfecting facilities before and after worship, maintaining a 2-meter distance between congregants side to side, and prohibiting meal provision.
Guro-gu is also encouraging participation in 'social distancing' at local PC rooms, karaoke rooms, and private sports facilities. Staff and users are required to wear masks at all times, and entry is prohibited if masks are not worn. Frequently used items such as keyboards, mice, microphones, remote controls, and exercise equipment are disinfected regularly, and the entire workplace is disinfected at least once a day. Appropriate spacing is ensured by sitting with one seat apart and maintaining at least 2 meters between users. Group exercise facilities such as aerobics and Zumba dance are advised to suspend their programs.
For restaurants, hygiene rules such as wearing masks, washing hands, sanitizing hands after payment, and using personal plates were promoted. Operation restraint was requested for colatecs, and as of the 23rd, all six establishments in the area are closed.
Guro-gu promotes 'social distancing' behavioral guidelines through various methods such as newsletters, website postings, on-site visits, sending notices, and distributing quarantine supplies, and monitors compliance.
Promotion activities for 'social distancing' will continue until the COVID-19 situation ends. Starting from the square in front of the district office on the 20th, relay campaigns will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Sindorim Station, Guro Station, Gaebong Station, and Oryu-dong Station. The campaign is conducted with the minimum necessary personnel, maintaining a distance of at least 2 meters between participants.
