Jangseong-gun '100% Waiver of Agricultural Machinery Rental Fees'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Gilsu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 23rd that it will promote a ‘full waiver of agricultural machinery rental fees’ to support farmers facing difficulties due to COVID-19 as the full-scale farming season begins.
The county decided to temporarily waive agricultural machinery rental fees to resolve labor shortages during the farming season and delays in timely farming caused by disruptions in the entry of foreign workers due to the global spread of COVID-19.
The waiver period is from the 22nd of last month to July 31, and rental fees for agricultural machinery from the 1st to the 21st will also be retroactively applied and refunded.
Any farmer can receive a full waiver of the one-day rental fee when using rental agricultural machinery.
If the same model of agricultural machinery is rented for two or more days, the rental fee for the first day is fully waived, but from the second day onward, the waiver does not apply. Additionally, if different models of agricultural machinery are rented, the 100% waiver benefit applies to the first day’s rental fee.
